Charitable Endeavor Coordinated by Broker Associate Troy Williams Collected Nearly 400 Pounds of treats Specifically for Colorado Air National Guard’s 120th Tactical Fighter Squadron

GREENWOOD VILLAGE – Broker Associates with RE/MAX Masters Millennium in Greenwood Village collected nearly 400 pounds of treats and snacks during March for deployed members of the Colorado National Guard’s 120th Tactical Fighter Squadron, also known as the Mile High Militia at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. The charitable endeavor, called “Goodies For The Guard,” was coordinated by Troy Williams, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a top producing Realtor at RE/MAX Masters Millennium in Greenwood Village.

On behalf of RE/MAX Masters Millennium and its agents, we are honored to show support to the men and women of our Armed Forces, and especially for our Colorado heroes. We needed to let them know that we understand their sacrifice and how much we appreciate them,” said Williams. “Many agents responded to the call. We hope that our Colorado Guard feel a bit closer to home during their deployment. I want to thank all of our service members in addition to the brokers at RE/MAX Masters Millennium and the company’s outstanding support staff.

“Those of us in the real estate business are really in the people business, and it’s important that we show our support for those in the military. I especially want to thank our owner and Managing Broker, Jim Wanzeck, and Peggy Talbot, the office ambassador. We have an awesome staff and generous brokers who care deeply about those in the military. It was truly a team effort.”

Williams was assisted in the “Goodies for the Guard” effort by Travis Penna, a good friend, former church member, and a Master Sargent of the Air National Guard. Williams has wanted to do this charitable endeavor for the past 20 years, and knowing Penna helped him considerably.

The care packages were mailed to the Guardsmen on March 21, 2022. The snacks and treats will benefit a total of 270 Guardsmen. The boxes included a variety of energy bars, beef jerky, cookies, sunflower seeds, instant powdered hydration drinks, chips, breakfast treats, gummies, healthy snacks, and greeting cards of encouragement. Cash donations were also accepted, with Williams personally shopping for the treats and snacks. Each bag in 12 large boxes contained nine different items.
