Congratulations to my hero and father Jim Wanzeck on his successful sale of the RE/MAX Masters office and passing the torch to a well-established group at RE/MAX Professionals! It's a great achievement and a testament to his hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit.

As Jim's son, I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to work alongside him and witness firsthand his unwavering commitment to his clients and agents. It's clear that his leadership style has always put the needs of his team and clients first, and his ability to get things done is a true inspiration. Standing with other Masters agents receiving the unexpected news, I watched as they became saddened by the idea of not having my father as their broker owner and leader. He has always been there for his agents, answering phone calls and providing support even if the call was well after normal working hours. His departure will be a significant loss and it's a testament to his hard work and dedication to the Masters office.

Under Jim's leadership, RE/MAX Masters Millennium has been recognized as the top producing single-office RE/MAX franchise in the nation for several consecutive years. The company was also ranked number one in the world in 2017, and is among the Top 500 Mega Brokers nationally by REAL Trends. He was awarded "Realtor of the Year" award from the South Metro Denver Realtor Association (SMDRA). Jim has also served as Chairman of the leading real estate organization, the Metrolist Board of Directors, and REcolorado.

Despite this, I know my father's decision to sell the RE/MAX Masters office and turn it over to RE/MAX Pros was the right one. After 39 years of running the office, he deserves to focus on other things like family, health, and travel. However, I have no doubt that he will continue to be a force in the real estate industry, and his passion for the business will keep him involved for years to come.

It's worth acknowledging that in today's fast-paced world, self-made leaders like my father, Jim Wanzeck, are a rare breed. His ability to build, fix, and dream up anything is a true testament to his ingenuity and a valuable lesson I have learned. In addition to his impressive professional achievements, he has shown the same dedication to our family. There is no task or request too tall for him to tackle, and he's always been there for us whenever we need him. His leadership abilities and accomplishments are truly uncommon in today's standards, and I feel fortunate to have him as a role model in my life.
